Hi, my name is Greg, founder of blackasianchat.com. I have created this
site because I feel blacks and Asians should have a place to talk and air
their feelings about each other. I also feel that Asian and Black interracial
couples need a place to discuss social issues that happen to couples. This
site welcomes singles or anyone else who shares the same experiences. It
also comes equipped with a forum discussion board, and a guest book for
you to sign.
I live in San Francisco; the largest population of Asian immigrates in a
major US city. The most common interracial couples here are white men
and Asian women. This seems to be acceptable, because white men
represent the American dream. Black and Asian couples are in the
minority, but I feel it’s becoming more of a reality. This site is here to help
break down the fears and stereotypes each group has for each other. My
greatest hope is to provide a support group to Asian and Black couples in
love who are experiencing difficulty and frustration because of family
members, friends, or just dirty looks from strangers on the street.
